SKIOLD sold to the PE fund Solix

The Danish company SKIOLD has been sold to Solix Group. SKIOLD is a leading international manufacturer of total solutions for feed production, full-line pig farms as well as grain and seed cleaning and grading plants.

SKIOLD employs more than 500 people and is the largest privately-owned business in the agricultural industry in Denmark. The 2016 revenue amounted to DKK 615m.

The company was founded in 1877 and, over the past years, it has made investments to increase international presence by establishing new subsidiaries, business units and joint ventures. Today, the export constitutes 90% of the revenue.

Henrik Juul Hansen and Anne Sofie Bendix Ranch advised SKIOLD's management and the minority shareholders in connection with sales and reinvestments.
