Through two accelerated bookbuilding processes in November 2019 and January 2020, SEAS-NVE has sold Ørsted shares for approx. DKK 5.3bn and approx. DKK 6.1bn, respectively, totalling approx. DKK 11.4bn.
The reason for the sales of shares is that, on 18 September 2019, SEAS-NVE concluded an agreement with Ørsted on the acquisition of Radius Elnet and Ørsted's residential customer and city light businesses. At the same time, SEAS-NVE announced the company's intention to reduce its ownership interest in Ørsted over the next 12 months.
Danske Bank, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Nordea were joint global coordinators and bookrunners in connection with the sales of the Ørsted shares.
