Kristian Lykkeholm Klausen works as an attorney with Accura's M&A Team.
Kristian specialises in the structuring and completion of Danish and cross-border business transfers and venture capital investments. He also has vast experience in providing advice in connection with technological spin-outs from Danish universities. Moreover, he advises businesses on a large number of commercial matters.
Kristian returned to Accura in 2014 after having worked with Rønne & Lundgren. He was previously employed with Accura in the period 2006-2012.
Kristian graduated in law from the University of Copenhagen in 2010 and was admitted to the Danish bar in 2013. Furthermore, he studied corporate law and securities law at the University of Western Ontario in Canada in 2009.
In 2015, Kristian was selected as one of Denmark's greatest rising business talents in Berlingske Business Magazine's annual Talent 100 nomination.
Kristian also won the "Emerging Leaders Award – Europe", which was given by the magazine M&A Advisor for the first time in Europe in 2015. M&A Advisor has given the award in the USA since 2010. The award is given to young talents under the age of 40 who have stood out internationally within the areas of M&A, restructuring and/or financing. Kristian was the only person in Denmark to receive the award in 2015.
For a number of years, Kristian has taught several courses on the law of property and obligations to law students, and he previously taught commercial law at the business college Niels Brock.

Kristian is a member of The Danish Bar and Law Society as well as The Danish Association for Corporate Law.
He is the chairman of Investment Network, Danish Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (DVCA).
